City of Los Angeles

Fire Stations Nos. 13, 77 & 83

Three fire stations were designed as a part of the Fire Bond Program (Proposition F) for the City of Los Angeles. Fire Station 77 (Sunland, CA) was the first station developed utilizing a prototypical floor plan and the two subsequent Stations 83 (Encino, CA) and 13 (Pico-Union District of Los Angeles) were site adapted to fit within the unique neighborhood context they were located. All facilities were designed as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified and include sustainable design features such as on-site storm water retention areas, highly efficient mechanical units, recycled content materials and energy efficient roofing.
